Globalization

Technology has advanced quickly in the last hundred years,  The results if this advancement has brough both wonderful, and terrible things into our world.  One of the results is globalization, but the ways in which we have reached this state, has at the same time made us isolated.

With trains, planes, boats, and cars we can go any were in the world any time we please, and the Internet has made the world’s information available to us at a moment’s notice. Yet, we choose to stay at home, inside our respective secure, dwellings.  Why do we choose to stay at home?

The main reasons, that we choose to stay at home with so much opportunity available to us, is that people do not want to leave their comfort zone.  We are afraid to leave our homes because we are so tied down with work, school, family, and other obligations.  At the same times people complain about not being able to go anywhere.  While most of the people that complain have the means to do so, they just need to make the time.

Globalization has created so many opportunities.  People just need to realize the opportunities available to them.  Getting out of their houses and offices and enjoying these opportunities would make people’s lives so much better.
